Welcome...
Hi, I’m Katherine— welcome to A Path to Wholeness.
This space is where I’m learning to heal, soften, and grow. I write personal essays about motherhood, identity, and the quiet emotional work of becoming. It’s for anyone navigating their own inner shifts — toward awareness, wholeness, and a deeper kind of self-care.
For over 15 years, I’ve written on behalf of others as part of my professional life. But this newsletter is where I write for myself — and, I hope, for you. I’m a mother of three and someone drawn to the quiet emotional currents that run beneath everyday life.
If you’re new here, these are good places to start:
Letting Go of the Girl Who Loved Beer - on shifting my identity and relationship with alcohol
On the Path with Claudia Roth - a heartfelt interview with my spiritual advisor and friend
The Moment I let the Water Hold Me - on parenting and radical acceptance
I send out essays a couple times a month, “On the Path” interviews with close friends walking the spiritual path, and occasional notes about the novel that I’m working on behind the scenes.
There will always be free, heartfelt writing here. But for those who feel called to support this space more intentionally, paid subscribers will receive:
Behind-the-essay reflections — short notes about what I left unsaid, what scared me to publish, or the deeper layers under each piece
Occasional voice notes or readings — so you can hear the pieces in my voice
Sneak peeks from my novel-in-progress — excerpts, messy drafts, and honest dispatches from the writing journey
Invitations to private threads or gentle gatherings — a space to reflect, share, or simply listen
If my words have ever helped you feel more seen, less alone, or more connected to your own truth—becoming a paid subscriber is one way to keep this work going. It helps me carve out time to write, to listen more deeply, and to bring even more care to what I share.
And if now’s not the time, that’s okay too. I’m so glad you’re here.
With gratitude,
Katherine
